Dr. Rachel Feinstein obtained her dental education from New York University College of Dentistry, followed by a one-year Consortium for Translational Orthodontic Research Fellowship, and a three-year Certificate of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at NYU.
During her research fellowship year, she focused her study on understanding accelerated and efficient orthodontics. She is proud to have had her research published and on the cover of the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and used in seminars on orthodontics. Her training focused on areas of Invisalign, traditional braces, orthognathic surgery cases, early interceptive treatment, adult orthodontics, among others.
Dr. Feinstein is experienced in the latest techniques and certified in the most up-to-date procedures. She is passionate about “mindful orthodontics,” an approach that considers a patient’s whole-body health, habits (e.g., thumb sucking, sleep conditions, tongue thrusting, breathing), and lifestyle when formulating her treatment plans. She is highly qualified to provide individualized comprehensive, compassionate, and comfortable care for children, teenagers, and adults. She’ll always sit with every patient at every appointment to make the orthodontic experience extraordinary!
Dr. Feinstein grew up in sunny Florida and met her husband Jarrod, a Richmond native, during college. Both are committed to giving back to their community in a variety of ways.
